On Saturday, 11/20, I did a Haute Photgraphique (boudoir) session with Melissa. She wanted to do some 1940's pin-ups as a Christmas gift for her significant other.

The resulting photos, I thMelissa-16-2.jpgink, are fabulous. As always it took a little bit to warm up to the camera but once things were going, it went great! It's amazing what a string of pearls and some props can do. It helps when you have someone who isn't too shy in front of the camera too.

All of these were shot with the Nikon D80 and most were with our standard lens the Nikkor18-135mm. A couple were taken with our Sigma 70-200mm for a little added depth, but the challenge is that it is a huge lens so you need to have quite a distance between the camera and the subject. This was also our first shoot with our new lighting rig, which performed beautifully!

It was a fun, productive shoot and I'm sure her significant other would agree!
